HOOKS:

I am of Hispanic descent.

I will not be applying for financial aid.

Your SATs are on the low end, but definitely will not disqualify you Otherwise there’s a student with very similar stats (and username, at that) here. Perhaps you should see the reviews on that page.

String threadBump = new String(“Bump.”);

System.out.print(threadBump);

I haven’t really touched java in 7 or so years, but shouldn’t that be println (or printf)? Also, your first line is equivalent to the cleaner

String threadBump = “Bump.”;

In any case, is there a point to having two separate chance threads (and then bumping them)? Do what you can: come up with the best essay possible, kick some ass on the SAT IIs, possibly (preferably) retake the SATs (and do well there), get good midyear grades, make sure your recommendations are flawless, and you’ll find out in less than a year.

Edit: Wow. I just realized you started 63 different chance threads. Just relax… obsessing over your chances isn’t going to help you get in.

Haha, thanks. And yes, “print” is acceptable.

You’re definitely in with the Hispanic card… Mexican or other?

South American, more specifically Colombian.
