Hey! I'm a junior living in Florida and I really want to go to FSU, so I was wondering if you guys could chance me!

UW GPA: 3.36
W GPA: 3.93

I have taken all of my core classes as honors, and have taken AP World, AP Psych, and AP Lang. On AP World, I got a 2. I think on AP Psych I got a 3 or 4, and AP Lang a 4 or 5.

ACT: 28
SAT: 1190/1920 (that's with a 530 on math, retook Saturday)

I've been in Key Club through high school (VP soph & junior years and secretary next year)
Juniorettes soph, junior, & next year (going to run for an office position)
Italian Club through high school
Fellowship of Christian Athletes this year & next year
NHS next year

I have 75 recorded community service hours (25 with YMCA, 50 with Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation) and other hours with Key Club and Juniorettes that I never recorded...

AND (I think this is what will really help me since my GPA is kinda low) I was chosen to be a Delegate from my state to go to Washington DC and speak on Capitol Hill about funding & finding a cure for type 1 diabetes...it might be on CSPAN!

No problem. You have very strong stats and you should be proud.
Let me know if you have any other questions, especially if they’re related to housing.

I toured FSU a few months ago and visited one of the residence halls. I think it was one of the newer ones. I think there was a restaurant downstairs, and there were a lot of mailboxes, and there were laundry rooms. I think there were some classrooms on the first floor, too. There were also a lot of bikeracks on the outside. 1) Do you know what building I’m talking about & if so what is it called? and 2) Do a lot of USF students have bikes?

If you mean at USF, you visited Juniper Poplar. That is where a lot of the Living Learning Communities are housed: Honors, Engineering, Business, etc. Then there’s also a section in that area for regular first-years. It’s a freshman-dominant hall.

I would say a pretty big chunk of the students who live on campus have bikes or longboards.
