Hmm grades are a little rough here and there, but Pitzer is very flexible when it comes to reviewing applications (so I’ve heard). They will definitely take into account that you struggled with your depression and home life, assuming you let them know about all of that.

Your community service and extracurriculars are nice, and you did take rigorous courses throughout high school (lots of honors classes).

As for SAT scores, math is a little shaky but Pitzer doesn’t even require scores from applicants with a GPA of 3.5 or above, or who are in the top 10% of their class, so their emphasis on SAT scores isn’t huge.

Another very important part of your application is your essays. Pitzer definitely values creative, thoughtful essays, so if you wrote great stuff, it’ll definitely be a big advantage. Overall, I’d say Pitzer sounds like a bit of a reach for you, but in the end, they accept all different types of students and I feel like you can never quite know with them!

Good luck, I really do hope you get in. :)
