<p>Essays: good, my main essay was about how my father has worked 4000 miles away from our home for the past 9 years. I talked about how that changed my work ethic and other things.</p>

<p>Looks like you are doing very well! The only thing that strikes me is that you need some major leadership experience. You could take one of your areas of interest (music, work at the shelter) and create a unique program of your own. Look around and determine what would work well in your community. Maybe one of your teachers or an adult in your community can help direct you. Organize to get others to join you. You have so much to offer and the community needs your energy and ideas. Stanford looks for those who truly stand out and do something unique with their talents. “Be the change you want to see.”</p>
