Chance!!

I'm planning on majoring in computer science or engineering (open to electrical, aerospace, biomedical, and computer). I'm mainly looking at the UC schools (all minus Merced), USC, Loyola Marymount, SDSU, and the Cal Poly's (Pomona and SLO). I am constantly worrying whether or not ill even get into any of the schools since I'm applying for such competitive major.

Science: H Biology B, B; H Chemistry C, C; H Physics B, B; AP Environmental Science (next year)

Math: Geometry B, C; Algebra 2 B, B; Pre Calculus B, B; AP Calculus (next year)

Social Studies and Electives(besides language): AP World History A, A; AP US History A, A; AP Art History A, A; AP Psychology A, B; AP Government/Econ (next year)

English: H English 9 B, B; H English 10 C, C; AP English Lang B, A; AP English Lit(next year)

1930 on the SAT and I am definitely taking it again, aiming for 2000ish in addition to the SAT Math II exam.

My UC GPA is around 3.9 (if i calculated correctly) and my extra curricular's in my opinion are above average(Student Government Treasurer, 2yrs; President of 3 clubs junior and senior year, VP of 2 in Sophomore year, Internship in an insurance office 200+ hours, 200+ hours with a major leadership position at a national non profit(actually makes a a big difference), 50+ hours in political campaigns, and 200+ hours at a medical practice in addition to a Presidential Service Award. I'm a California resident and I'm Indian.

So what are my chances with these schools I'm interested in and what major fits me best/ehat major is most likely going to get me accepted?

The UCs are brutal for STEM admissions. So is Cal Poly-SLO. Right now, I have to say that your chances at UCLA and Berkeley are very, very slim, and UCSD is a reach.Davis might be tough for engineering, also (I think you’d have no problem getting into the general college). I honestly don’t know the stats for admission to the Engineering school at UCSB or Irvine; they might even be reaches. I’d say UCSC is a match, and so is CalPoly-Pomona. I’ve heard that SJSC is also very difficult to get into these days. I have no idea of how strong Loyola Marymount is in STEM departments. I think you could probably get in. Do you live in LA, and would be able to commute to USC or LMU? If not, would you be full-pay? I think you probably do not have the stats for a good scholarship to USC, even if accepted. If you can, then have you considered looking a little further away, at some less selective schools where your stats are above average and your chances a little better?
