I applied ED to NYU CAS
GPA: 3.68 weighted. School doesn’t do unweighted. Dropped because I missed lots of school for medical purposes
ACT: 33 (36 E, 29 M, 36 R, 32 S)
Decent amount of EC’s ex president of one club, Vice President of another, etc
School makes us waive right to see recommendations but hopefully they were good
What do you guys think? good shot? Or LSP’d or denied? Thanks in advance

Hey! I think your test scores and activities are pretty decent, but your GPA might be slightly lower. Hope you fully explained your circumstances and that NYU will understand it. You definitely have a shot, but your GPA makes it a bit shaky.

Thank you!! @stehyh. Anybody else?? Also wanna state that my common app essay I believe was 10/10 and my Why NYU was about an 8/10.

Your ACT is great, and the ECs sound fine as well. However, depending on what you want to major in, your Math score might be a little low. As stehyh said, if you explained the medical reasons well, NYU might be more merciful.
