School only has a couple of AP classes which I will take my Senior year.

My PSAT scores were around 85 percentile and as of know I am around the top 10% of my 300 class

Your grades and rank look pretty good. You may need to get your SAT scores about 85%ile (I'm not really sure what that translates to), but PSAT scores are sometimes off the mark anyway. Keep it up and let us know when you take the SAT.

My vote is definately work on your rank, I would like to see it closer to top 5%. I think the top 85th percentile would be alright but I honestly have no idea what that equates to either. Anyways, just work on your grades and focus on that, take your SAT, and report back when you have those scores. Right now it looks like you should have a shot, it is just about upping how hard you are working and bettering your chances. It just is hard to tell at this point, you know, but you definately have a shot so keep in touch as time goes on!

Thanks for the help. I am really interested in attenteding the college of arts and letters. Oh and I am basically addicted to college football.
