Hey guys, I am planning to apply for Cornell for my sophomore year. Below is my stats. What are my chances?

Major: Environmental Engineering

School attended before transferring: Top 5 public school
College GPA (out of 4.0): By the time of application: 3.75

Biostatistics, Psychology, General Biology (I really pushed to the course load limit for Sem 2 because I wanted to present a challenging course choice to colleges, although my grades did suffer a little)

English (STEM research focused), Math, General Chemistry, Architecture

My average has always been at around 94% in high school, and my high school was ranked first in the province in Canada

I think you have a good chance. You show nice leadership and interest in your ECs and being a first-generation student will definitely help. Your GPA does seem pretty low, though. I’m also not very knowledgeable on how applying from Canada works, but I think if you apply as a Canadian citizen you may be at a disadvantage. It would also be helpful to know your standardized test scores.
