Chance?

i have posted about my chances before, but here it is with updated numbers

firstly, i go to a highly highly competitive public school in-state

GPA: 3.6
SAT: 2190 (M: 750, CR:690, W: 750)
SAT II: US: 670
Math 1C: 710

APs
10th
Euro: 3

11th:
Physics: 3
US: 4
Comp: 3

12th:
Gov't
Env't
AB Calc
Lit

Extra Cirriculars:
probably one of my strongest aspects....
as a freshmen, i founded the Political Science Club at my school which has coordinated internships for members and brought in 3 speakers, including a US congressmen...i also have interned on numerous political campaigns and i will have a reccomendation written by a elected state government official (i will pretty much be basing my application about my political involvment and interest)

i am an elected officer in my grade

i am in charge of coordinating all referees for a child's basketball league

treasurer of FBLA at my school

member of stock market club, latin honor society, national honor society

member of varsity ice hockey, played both JV soccer and baseball

i also placed nationally in the national french exam as a freshmen and recieved a gold medal (summa cum laude) in the national latin exam as a junior

will i get in?

someone respond please

by the way, i forgot to mention that i will be applying to human ecology and majoring in Policy analysis and management

While you have good ECs, there not AMAZING. Normally, they'd be fine but your GPA, AP, SAT are not very high. If your from a low-class area & minority or if your actually a very high rank in your school, you'll want to mention that since it would change a lot of the perspective from which they'll look at you.

2190 is not very high?

Actually, I'd say everything is fine except for your GPA--3.6 is very low. Make sure to get higher grades this year and you'll have a good chance. Your SATs and ECs are fine.

my GPA is actually around a 3.65 i should say....and weighted around a 3.9

Best chance, of course, is if you apply ED. You might consider CAS as it would better fit your putative career goals (although you have hordes of company in your government/politics interests and CAS is much more competitive than HumEc). As a cautionary note, I wouldn't necessarily target my essays around political aspirations as it will be repetitive and exasperating for the adcoms at any Ivy...

If that is really what you are passionate about then I think you shouldn't hesitate to write about it.

sorry, i forgot to include that i will be applying early

and i am mainly applying to Human Ecology rather than CAS due to financial reasons....i know that the Political Science major is in CAS but it is too expensive, and PAM is the closest major to it in a state school
