So yeah, I already submitted my ED for Dartmouth and I'm having second thoughts about it. I dropped to about 27/431 in my class rank. My gpa tops at about 106.8/117 which isn't too hot. I've been taking all the requirements in my school which was a pain in the ass. My Junior year went terribly: This included A-s in two business courses (H2) not Honors or AP, which totally wrecked me; I also took a flat 80 in a Precalc class. This summer I took an Econ course at Harvard which involved... you know... A LOT of work. After I came back to school and received my first midterm I was surprised: All As or A+s in AP and Honors classes, which I thought was amazing. Of course that's when I realized that Dartmouth will never see my 1st term grades in time for ED judgment day. I'm thinking about calling the admissions office and withdrawing my supplement but am not totally convinced that I am doomed. Some opinions would help.
