Colleges:

1 is USNA (I realize this isn't the right place to have this chanced so disregard this one)

The rest of the colleges on my list all have NROTC

Then my list goes something like (alphabetical order, not sure on preference yet):
Carnegie Mellon
Cornell
Duke
G. Wash U
MIT (yea I know, big reach lol)
Northwestern
Rensselaer Polytech U
Rice
U Mich (ann arbor)
UNC (chapel hill)
Notre Dame
U Rochester
Vanderbilt
Villanova

Carnegie Mellon: Maybe
Cornell: Unlikely
Duke: REJECT
G. Wash U: Likely
MIT (yea I know, big reach lol): REJECT
Northwestern: Unlikely
Rensselaer Polytech U: In
Rice: Unlikely
U Mich (ann arbor): Maybe
UNC (chapel hill): Maybe
Notre Dame: Likely
U Rochester: In
Vanderbilt: Maybe
Villanova: In

You've only taken two AP courses, but how many does your school offer? Being #1 or 2 makes me think that maybe only a handful of APs are offered. If that's so than your courseload would be considered rigorous. If a dozen APs are offered, you are taking a pretty weak courseload. Being a white boy from NY is a big ouch.

Also, what are you looking for in a college? I'm thinking you are looking at engineering with your list. I'm just curious. GWU seems a little random though.

Carnegie Mellon - Match
Cornell - Low Reach
Duke - Low Reach
G. Wash U - Low Match
MIT - Reach
Northwestern - Low Reach
Rensselaer Polytech U - Low Match
Rice - High Match
U Mich (ann arbor) - Match
UNC (chapel hill) - Match
Notre Dame - Match
U Rochester - Low Match
Vanderbilt - High Match
Villanova - Low Match

I think the closest thing you have to a safety would be Villanova, maybe GWU.

Look to a SUNY as a very safe safety, but I think you have a good array of matches and reaches.

Good Luck at USNA (and all your others)!

Thanks :)

btw do you get pleasure in writing "REJECT" in caps? lol you do that to everyone...

thanks pooz, yes Engineering is what I'm looking at (how did you know!?!?! you psychic!!)

yes my school only offers a handful of AP's, I took the maximum I could last year...

about GWU, I just found it on collegeboard lol, it had NROTC and decent test scores so I was like "ok! you're in!"

Ok good idea with the SUNY

Of course I do. It gives me a quick high.

fag

asdfadsfasf

wow you're cool aldeswari

Ok I narrowed down my list a little... they're all pretty good engineering colleges and none are big reaches... I added GA Tech

Carnegie Mellon
Cornell
Duke
GA Tech
Northwestern
RPI
Rice
U Mich (ann arbor)
Notre Dame
Vanderbilt

What do you guys think about my chances for GT?
Also, how are my EC's?

(sorry for the double post)

anyone else?

I also failed to mention in my EC's that I did F.I.R.S.T. Robotics for 2 years and was a leader of the mechanical team last year... spent hundreds of hours working on that damn robot lol (up to 16 hours some saturdays/snow days)

anyone at all?

People have already told you! But I still beg to repeat - no one, and I say NO ONE, can predict every outcome. Go for it! If you get rejected, big deal! At least you tried! And if you get in...:D
