Chance!

Currently a freshman at the university of arizona. I am applying to texas, michigan, and UNC. All reaches i know

HS GPA-3.18(very very competitive prep school in texas)
ACT-27
college gpa-3.412 taking 17 units
ethnicity- cuban

ECs- 2 sport varsity captain, president's service award winner 4 times, founder of international club at school, leadership positions in various other clubs, several subject awards

do i have any shot? i was deferred then rejected from michigan last year

bumpbumpbump

Texas–going to be tough. There are very few OOS students, so…
Michigan–reach (it’s extremely selective)
UNC–reach as well (ditto)

I’d say you’d have the best chance at Texas.

Hope I helped!

im actually instate for texas. i went to HS there. that makes me instate right??

Match at Texas
Slight Reach at Michigan
Reach at UNC (they have very strict requirements for transfer–and take few sophomore transfers from OOS)

Make sure you meet the articulation agreements for these schools–and the departments you want to transfer in at each one. This is likely to determine whether you actually get in. (Note: It is better to wait an extra year and take the required courses than try to transfer now without having taken the right courses.)–and I say that for all three schools.

there arent any “requirements” or “pre-reqs” for the schools i am applying to, well at least for the colleges within the university

also for unc, i know they prefer junior tranfers, but they dont take the state of residency in consideration for transfer students

if the information you provided is accurate..id say 3.4 should make you competitive for texas and unc..but thats my thought…

any other opinions guys?

cmon please guys

my last bump. any more input?
