Looking to ED with Arts and Science for major in chemisty.
Do I have a chance

Also, If I do much better on the ACT than I do on the SAT and I mail in my score report. Will they take both tests into consideraton when making their decision, or only the relative higher one of the two?

If you were still in marching band, you would be a shoe-in.

If not, you will merit a decent look with ED, especially given your strong interest in chemistry. Cornell is an excellent place to study chemistry as an undergrad. The major is surprisingly small, but the faculty are superb.

Regular decision is a whole other story.

they will look at your ACT score with a lot more weight...basically the score that is higher is the one that they will pay more attention to...but are you planning on retaking the act...and if so why? i dont think you have to at all.

CayugaRed--you mentioned that they would be a shoe-in with marching band. Does marching band really look that good if done all four years, or is it only if you plan on doing marching band in college?

I'm pretty sure he was kidding
