chance?

I go to a school of about 1,400 students in Washington State. I saw that Duke looks heavily at extra curriculars so I thought mine might make up for the test scores?

SATs: (710 verbal, 620 m, 640 writing) Haven't taken SAT IIs yet but will probably get between 700-800 as I will pick ones that play to my strengths.

GPA: ~3.7 unweighted, every class is an IB class except Newspaper.

Extras:
2 years varsity basketball (junior, senior)
2 years varsity cross country (freshman, sophomore)
4 years varsity track

Paged twice for the state legislature, once for the house and once for the senate

Helped to raise $100,000 for a school play I was in to go to Edinburgh, Scotland to participate in the prestigious Fringe Festival

Was in a choir that went to Japan and Washington DC

3 years on the school paper, 1 year as a Copy Editor, 1 year as Editor-in-Chief

Attended Boys State as a junior, this mock government thing that you are nominated for held at a university

Won the schools writing award for a piece I submitted junior year

Various work experience and other ECs: workshops, etc.

Do I have a shot? Thanks!

Certainly interesting and varied ECs. Your SATs are a bit low and I would encourage you to take it again if you have the chance. If you have good recs and essays then I'd say you should give Duke a chance.
