As you may have guessed, academic is not my strong point.
My EC is average.
I did not participate in any sports.
Instead, I was actively involved in participating
in clubs and had a lots of different things on my mind.
(Moved school in 9th grade, family hardship in 10th grade, visa mishaps that nearly kicked me out of the country in 11th. Every year something happens. But I did not mention them in my apps. I do not even come close to being qualified to whine before the omnipotent admission staff folks who can probably recall an applicant in much worse situation than myself and I do not wish to appear as such. So I will just whine before you guys :P)
Rec. Letters are great. (But not phenomenal.)
Essays are great. (Again, not phenomenal. Perhaps personal and honest.)

Please be kind!

i think you’ve got a decent shot if you bump up those sat 2’s. oh and i wouldn’t be too ashamed of your academics… you’re doing fine.

bump…show some love guys…

Okay, forget the “Please be kind!” Anybody out there who would like to brutally slaughter my stats?

that literature II score is on the lower end, considering your better performance at the SAT Is. Also it doesn’t make sense to me why you didn’t take any math SAT IIs. A 800 on the Math 1 is excellent, and the math subject tests are not any harder than the SAT Is. Your ECs (Math Team for 4 years) also would direct you to take the SAT IIs in mathematics.

Your GPA seems a little low even if your valedictorian has only a 4.2, and class rank a little low considering who you compete with for admission. But i can’t correctly judge your academic performance without knowing what kind of school you go to. Where in Connecticut (some schools are very good, while others are just don’t make the Ivy league cut)

what school are you applying?

and it seems like you have an obsession for the secretary position

do i know you?

okay here is a question

do you know who geoff seymour is?

i swear i m not crazy i m just trying to figure out if you are who i think you are

MZK// Well as much as ludicrous as it may sound, math is not my favorite/strongpoint subject. As for the GPA, it seems that our school is suffering from grade deflation of some kind. At least that’s what I think is the case…
szhang//Yes you are crazy. And I do know Jeff Seymour. I daresay I know you as well.

yo crazy mothercrackerjack who would of thought that i would find you on CC

seems like that month of hell at new haven paid off 2190 is excellent! is cornell your top choice?

Before I answer that, I’d just like to say few things…
*Some Admin folks occasionally read through CC forums.
*Regardless of their casual browsing that kind of language is not tolerated by the general CC’ers.

And yes, I applied ED.

MZK// Sorry! I forgot to post it up. I’m applying CAS, Government major.

You have a 65 percent chance of being accepted ED.
