Essay- preety good; mention the fact that i didnt learn english until 7 years ago but wasnt the focus of the essay...

Also does anyone know if emory college is need blind. How about oxford. Im a little worried about that cause im gonna need a lot of aid
Also i havent visited emory or oxford since its so far away...
i would reall appreciate any comments especially from enrolled students.
Also does any one know if ur guranteed a spot at emory college after two years at oxford or is there a ridiculus gpa requirement... that kind of seems unfair since its so hard to get into emory but so much easier to get into oxford.

You have to have a certain GPA from Oxford in order to continue on to Emory after two years...not sure exactly what it is but it's nothing ridiculous.

bump... can anyone chance me please? ill give u cookie lol

Your grades I think are average (for Emory I mean). Your test scores are above average and your ec's (at least going by what you said) aren't great. If your essays and recs are good, you should have decent chances at Emory. I'd say it's a 50-50 shot. However, you will most likely be accepted Oxford.

Emory (and Oxford as well I think) has a need-blind admissions policy, so don't worry too much about that right now. And Oxford students go on to Emory College their junior year unless their gpa is bad (2.0 I think?).

Good Luck!
