(They're practically ALL reaches, but I'm determined to bump up my standardized test scores. Be honest. A sense of reality.)

Yes, all reaches. Get up your SAT score to at least 2100 and you’ll have a great shot at all your schools. (I improved from a lower PSAT score than your SAT equivalent to a 2260 SAT.)

how can your weighted be more than 1 point higher than your unweighted?

They are all reaches, besides Umich, at this point, with those sat and act scores. I think you should apply to Michigan as early as possible, and just send in your act scores. With that, your grades, your legacy, and your instate, you will probably get in.
However, if you can get your sat scores to a 2100+ and your act score over 30, then all of them will be possible. (Uchicago, Duke, Columbia and Pomona will still be reaches probably)
Also, you really should look at safeties!

Chance me back please http://talk.collegeconfidential.com/what-my-chances/733304-chance-schools.html

freightrain-I don’t know. It appeared that way on my report card. It could be one of two reasons: (1) error (2) a great deal of AP’s.

^It could be because your grades are weighted differently then frieghtrain’s weighted grades system.

I think you have a good shot at uchicago, georgetown, umich. we basically have the same test scores/ grades :D

the thing that made me laugh was “vegetarian: 5 years.” I know it’s a serious matter, but it just came outta nowhere. I don’t think it’ll help unless you decide to become an animal cruelty advocate. I think the SAT is really bringing you down now. Get it at least above a 2000 and you’ll have a better chance
