Should I even apply?

The ECs leave a little something to be desired, but I think you have at least a decent chance. Are you male or female?

Male.

I am also a member of National Honors Society. (Not that it helps very much, I just forgot to include it)

For OOS, I think its a (slight?) reach.

What’s the Math-Verbal breakdown for the SAT? And your rank.

My rank is 19 out of about 700 students.

If you don’t get it, it’ll be because of your ECs.

Do ED if you know you want to go. William and Mary doesn’t really give out merit money, so you aren’t going to lose out on leverage.

it is definitely worth the application… your academics are good enough. As has been mentioned, your ECs are on the weaker side, but if you can show good dedication/passion (significant hours of service or significant results in mock trial) to them they should be enough.

Work on the ECs a little bit. I got in with ECs just a little better than you, and about the same numbers. I was an out of state applicant as well in the class of 09.

It’s a bit late to “work” on ECs. In theory, OP could join a bunch of clubs and such for their senior year, but if I’m not mistaken, admissions has stated their preference for showing a high level of passion and leadership in a few things, rather than simple membership and low-level involvement in many things.
