Chance!

I'm applying for Deerfield, Andover and Taft.
My grades are all A's except for one, math, but I'm planning on actually trying and I'll definitely be able to raise it. I'm taking advanced classes basically wherever available and have good recs. I do cross country, track, yoga and ballet.
I am learning Spanish, speak Chinese and obviously English.
I have enough volunteer work, a club and leadership positions.
I interviewed very well or that's what they told me, as well as to please apply.
I have yet to take the SSAT but I think I will do well (in the 90s).
No financial aid, bi-racial, interesting parent backgrounds, living overseas.
Do you think I could make it?
Also! I'm applying for tenth grade.
So I'm wondering, is it harder to get accepted at a boarding school if you're applying for 10th grade? I mean of course they're not accepting even half as many as 9th graders but would it be a disadvantage? Does anyone know the acceptance rates for 10th graders?

Thanks ahead!

Also- What things do you think I should do in the following year to increase my chances of getting in? Except for studying for the SSAT and writing a killer essay, what should I do to improve my EC’s?

Please chance me :)!

As long as your grades continue to be this way in your advanced classes, you should be fine.
I would suggest having an academic EC, like Debate or Model UN.
In most places, tenth grade is a bit easier.
At Andover, tenth grade was around 20%.

What club are you in?
That could be important.
