chance?

I am a junior in HS.

Top 15% of class.
My school does not have class ranks but only percentiles

Of the six classes I'm taking next year, four are AP
GPA:
Unweighted- 3.711
Weighted- 3.736

ACT:
25- am retaking it in a month. I'm aiming at least for a 27
Also planning on taking the SAT

Extracurricular:
3 years in HS musical (pit orchestra/band)
3 years top Jazz Band
Chess Club
Fishing Club
11 years of piano
7 years of saxaphone
Big Brothers-Big Sister
Volunteer Work w/ Habitat for Humanity- in New Orleans
Varsity soccer

Which school do you have in mind ? I would say Carlson, CBS and IT - a little doubtful but not impossible if you raise your ACT score to 28-30, maintain your GPA and apply early. Other schools - decent chances. Good luck.

Sorry, can’t believe I left that out. I’m thinking either U of Minnesota-Twin Cities, of UW Madison

Wisconsin is a no, unless you can get your ACT up to a 27/28, then it’s a reach.

Don’t let your GPA fall and get your ACT to at least 28-30 and your SAT to at least 2000 if you want to get into CSOM/IT/CBS for the U and Madison in general.
