Chance?

Just joined, and this school is top on my list, so I figured hey, why not?

I'm an in state, white female junior at a (in my opinion) mediocre high school in South Jersey. Applying to Rutgers: New Brunswick as a Journalism major.

Colleges of Interest:

Montclair State University
New York University
Temple University

University of South Carolina at Columbia

I’m assuming American, NYU, and UMaryland are your reaches?

Yes, they are. If I can get my SATs and GPA significantly higher and get some more ECs in I think I have a slight chance, but I’m not getting my hopes up. Rutgers is my top match school.

Well I see you getting in. Just raise your SAT score by 100 points overall if your applying to SAS at NB. Try to get a few leadership positions also this year if you could.

Take the SAT several times as Rutgers superscores. Also if you are so sure it is your #1 choice apply as early as possible (before early October).

Your in rutgers for sure as long as you dont lower your GPA and apply around November…Anyways you should try to raise your GPA this semester to a 3.7 and retake the SATs (aim for 1800+) and go to NYU =D …unless your hacing fininacial issues then Idk = [
