My freshman grades really killed me. My class rank sucks because of those and because its a competitive private school with entrance exam.</p>

<p>I know you are aware that we can see a list of your other posts, and that Emory *greatly values demonstrated interest. If you truly want to go to Emory, I hope you show the admissions office a greater interest than you showed us with your copied and pasted “chance me” thread.</p>

<p>like everyone else has said, you’re a match. don’t worry too much about your freshman grades. i was somewhat in the same boat and the admissions people told me that as long as i had an upward trend i would be fine (which it appears you have) and i got in :)</p>
