chance

Probably will apply Newhouse or Whitman. Visited August as prospective student. My father went there and I have have been to numerous basketball games as a child. Starting to think I would love to do something in radio or maybe music/film behind the scenes.
Would also balance with some business (minor?). How is job outlook for Newhouse? I don't have any experience other than being in a band. Courses have been CP, honors and 2 AP (history and Bio). Very active in sports year round. Might play club in college or more.
Thanks for any help. Taking ACT in September.

You look good for Newhouse especially with legacy. You can minor in Whitman. I do not know about the job prospects for Newhouse - my D is a dual Newhouse-Whitman major and Whitman did very well last May, considering the economy. Newhouse told my D when she was applying for freshmen year that she should take all difficult academic courses as a high school senior, not any communication courses in high school. She had a great deal of media experience but I’m not sure it is essential for acceptance. You might want to contact the recruiter (email is on website) for Newhouse and begin to talk to him about your interest. Good luck.
