<p>Personal Statements: should be solid, first is about how I overcame my dad's hatred for homosexuals and became an advocate for human rights, second is about how xc and track taught me the value of hard work- as I was bad and became better through dedication</p>

I would try to eliminate 1-2 of your reaches and replace with Matches. Possibly UCI/USB?

I don’t think the major thing will have a great influence</p>

<p>I personally think if you know what major you intend to study, then you should declare. Most students will change their mind at 2-3 times during their college career, so you have ample opportunity to change… I do not think going in undeclared will make a difference if you are accepted or not.</p>
