<p>I think you’re in! I got in this year with awful SAT IIs (670 and 630… lol) and a comparable ACT score to your SAT and far less stellar ECs. I was first generation too. Relax!</p>

<p>You have good solid stats which are a match for MCS. It depends on how your essays and recs pan out, but I would say you have a good chance for bio at CMU supposing your essays/recs are solid. You don’t have a lot of demonstrated interest in a given area but you are well rounded, which is always a refreshing thing to see in a chance thread.</p>
