that looks really good actually! maybe a little higher SAT scores and whatnot. what is the standing of your school? is it known for being challenging or is it just your regular run-of-the-mill high school? if it is challenging and you are so high up in your class that raises your chances for admission. I think your app looks really good! just write some good essays and pray for the best i guess haha thats all anyone can do these days.

your ACT is higher than your SAT i think. just raise those standardized test scores a bit and you should be fine. GPA and extracurriculars are lookin great! keep up the good work.

also remember that it’s a lot harder to get in to UCLA from out of state, so you’ll have to make yourself look like a stronger applicant than you typically would among everyone else.

I’d say UCLA is a low reach for you, ATM.

Compared to my stats as an OOS from Tennessee who was accepted, your academics seem slightly south of mine (you have a greater variety of courses although you didn’t take quite as high difficulty classes I don’t think), but you have way more sports and a better variety than I did. Most of my ECs were music which I think are generally valued along the same levels as sports. About level on volunteer work. Considering I also got into Berkeley and San Diego, I’d say you’re about on track although you might be reaching slightly since my standardized tests were a bit higher (33 ACT, 2040 SAT, 790 math 2, etc). I’m thinking bump up your tests and you’d be pretty solid.

UCLA is not that hard to get into… UCLA these days wants OOS tuition so your chances are not dismal at all compared to in-state students. I think you’re good to go. Just bring your SAT score up to 2000+ just to be safe.

lack of APs will hurt u, both in uc gpa calculations and rigor. but OOS label may save you. ACT score is good, but the higher the better, so hopefully u can raise it.
