i just submitted my chancellor’s application about a week ago & haven’t heard yet

There is another thread I discovered called Chancellors Scholarship 2015 where a Pitt admissions staffer has answered a few questions regarding the 2016 Chancellors Scholarship Competition if you all have any specific questions.

Got my “thanks but no thanks” letter today in the mail today. Postmarked February 3rd. Good luck to all those still in the running!

We got the “no thanks” letter here today. Full tuition is pretty good though!

submitted my chancellor’s application on february 1st & just heard back about getting an interview this morning!

I got an email today too! I submitted my app on November 30th.

Daughter received email today that she advanced in Chancellors scholarship competition

My son received the email yesterday too.

Would you mind sharing your intended major (if you indicated one on your admissions application)?

My son’s major is in engineering.

I put my major as chemistry.

Does anyone know if invitations to interview are still going out? I have not heard anything either way!

Due to the high volume of qualified candidates, the Chancellor’s Scholarship nomination process for this year is now closed.

Thanks for the quick reply! I was just wondering as it seemed like nominees were receiving either an email inviting them to campus to interview or a letter saying they will not be interviewing. I was nominated and submitted my Chancellors application in early January but haven’t heard.

Anyone receive word yet on scholarship? D had interview this week.

I had my interview on March 25, and I was told it would take about 3-4 weeks to hear back, which seems like a long time…
