I still haven’t heard either and I sent mine in around the same time. I’m hoping we’ll hear sometime next week, but I had originally thought I’d hear something this week, so who knows?</p>

<p>I freaked out a little when I saw the thread had been updated, only to find relief in the fact that they have yet to send out the second round of invites. As a late November applicant to the Chancellor’s Scholarship, I really hope they will notify me either way soon.</p>
<p>It’s been almost a month since whoever started this thread was notified, and they sent in their application at max 2 weeks before me. Wonder when there will be more notifications?</p>
<p>I predict notifications will resume soon, with the second round of notifications being sent out next week… It seems like too late in the week for them to send out notifications this week.</p>
<p>My son got a fat little envelope in the mail today. When torn open, it revealed a tantalizing, blue cover that appeared to be an invitation. And it was…</p>
<p>…to Honors Day or something. Nothing to do with the Chancellor’s Scholarship. Got our hopes up for nothing (well, nothing close to what we hoped for). Poo! :rolleyes:</p>
<p>^^ Same thing happened with me. Except I thought that I was going to not get an interview, because they email you if you do get an interview, and send a letter either way.</p>
<p>lol, same thing here…i thought it was a no interview letter. we need to go visit pitt but dont want to plan anything until we hear something from scholarship.</p>

<p>Thanks. With the full Tuition Scholarship already in, we are going to go and give it a serious look. Chancellors would be icing on the cake at this point.</p>
<p>I received the “Sorry, no interview” letter today. My essays were quite good (by my standards, and I got into TASP with essays I deemed ‘good’), but I understand that the applicant pool is crazy good this year. Best of luck to all! </p>

<p>Well, I was out of town yesterday and checked the mail today, so I technically received it on Saturday lol.</p>

<p>I did like them, I’m trying to convince myself otherwise to soften the hard hit of rejection, and I do have some other reputable colleges to choose from so I think I will be just fine.</p>
