<p>Yeah, they were really pushing the “your acceptance is not a mistake” bit; must be a common question or something. Also, I liked when the vice chancellor said “we admit stories, not just students,” or something like that. Basically saying that all kinds of folks, with all sorts of backgrounds, is what they were looking for. I’m stoked; its gonna be an awesome school.</p>
<p>Man, I wish I could have seen the reception. I never get to attend, myself. However, I did meet a bunch of transfers today, and a couple came to visit from my old CCC, so I got to hang with them too. :)</p>

<p>Well at least if you’re from So Cal, you’ll hear the same speeches again!
I came kinda late so I didn’t get anything except the “Cal Admitted” button and heard all the speeches. I skipped the tables since I didn’t really have many questions for them at the moment – I also live close by so I can always come back if I have time. Didn’t tour the campus since I’ve seen it lol.</p>
