Your stats look good -- test scores slightly better than my son's, who was admitted for 2010. ECs, GPA & APs comparable.

Any chance your HS is Jesuit and you're from outside the Northeast? I think that helped us.

Good point, being in the Northeast is why I am not in now (I believe). Ten are going next year from my high school (all-boys, Jesuit), and three are going from an elite public school in my town.

i think you should be fine. your stats look pretty solid. definitely apply early action if you can, though.

Why apply early? Don't apply early. Getting in EA is harder than RD for BC. Your stats are comparable to mine and I'm going to BC CO '10. I was 1440/2180 25/424 rank with subpar ECs but good-great comm service/religious activities. Had toughest possible schedule but didn't try at all in school. I'd say you're borderline but leaning towards accepted. Keep up your grades and try to add some points on your SATs

We were told same as UMich? at BC info session last summer -- you'll get a "fairer" read through RD. The adcom rep who visited S's school also recommended RD for him. He recommended ED for those with tops stats in all categories.
