I don’t see any reason they would reject you. Full SAT score, great GPA & ECs. URM. You have all. You are in.

wow… you’re deff getting in everywhere

Dude, you have very high chances of getting into all of those schools, and at affirmative action schools you’re 100% in.

I honestly wouldn’t have applied to Dartmouth ED if I were you, because you are virtually guaranteed admission. I don’t really know your GPA, but with a high GPA and 2400, those two alone set the bar high. Combine the HUGE affirmative action benefits, and I could see you getting into Harvard without much struggle.

Chance me back: [Where to apply/Chance for Columbia ED - College Confidential](http://www.■■■■■■/ChanceMe)

A Latino on here had a 2000 ish SAT score (and nothing else fantastic) and got in to ALL of the top colleges he applied to (MIT, Harvard, etc.). Have fun at Dartmouth.

The 2400 and ethnicity alone will get you into most of the schools.

Black, 2400, 3.89? Have fun in Hanover! I agree with what everyone else said, as I wouldn’t have applied ED if I were you since you could’ve easily gotten in during the RD round (and had competing offers from all or almost all of your other schools), but I guess if you really did want to go to Dartmouth and wanted to relax a few months earlier, you made the right choice. Still not something I would do, but congrats!

God your a beast!!! YOu can go wherever you want but looks like we have the same major :0 lol see you than!!! AT Stanford hopefully…

your sat ii in apush more than reflects your skill in that class. I think you should set your goals higher, I’m sure if you applied harvard would accept you

seriously, though… make sure you want to go to dartmouth, because if you go there and realize that you could have gone somewhere better… maybe you shouldn’t ed, you know? I think you have a great shot without ed’ing, so it might be better to see all your results and then weigh them once you get all your acceptance letters

Why is this stickied.

2400+Black=In (As already stated). You would get in without any SAT Subject Tests probably to everywhere. Dartmouth is a great school… The whole “set your sights higher” is quite comical. There are good schools not named Harvard.

You are in everywhere.

You are a URM with a perfect SAT score

and sports besides

You may be one of the top URMs in the entire country, and all of these schools are looking for qualified URMs.

My understanding is that if you are a URM, you don’t have to be the best qualified, just reaonsably qualified-----i.e., a plausible candidate.

Even without the URM hook, I would say you would get into most if not all of these schools.

This actually may be a case where affirmative action kind of hurts you, because people may assume you got in because you are a URM, when in fact, you are just as qualified, or more qualified, than everyone else.

I think you have a good chance.

Congratulations on your perfect score! Could you tell me how you got it? I would really love some tips on how to achieve this!

Hi everyone. I just wanted to say, that I did not end up applying ED to Dartmouth. After a lot of consideration, including this thread, I decided that I should in fact let myself have more choices, for money reasons and other reasons.

I ended up applying to:
Dartmouth
Stanford
Cornell
UC Berkeley
UC Davis
MIT
UChicago EA (Accepted)
Harvard
Princeton
Harvey Mudd

I have to agree with saints2009 in that I would be greatly surprised if you didn’t get in to at least two or three of those top schools. Congrats on the 2400; it must have taken a LOT of prepping. Care to chance me back?

I agree with the posts that predict your acceptance to ALL (or nearly all) your schools. Being a URM with a perfect score and an athlete too…that’s unbeatable, dude. You were smart to wait on the binding ED, but they would have let you out if their financial aid package wasn’t enough for you to attend. My sister went to Dartmouth and loved it. So did I, but they rejected me. >< You’ll love it there!!

Keep us all posted on your admit decisions and look for lots of “likely letters” in your mailbox. Those should be coming out this month.

Even regarding the fact that you are Black, that’s pretty amazing.

I think you’re definitely getting into all of the schools you apply to. o-o

2400 + black = in.
