Self learning Japanese and Chinese (Mandarin) for a year so far for fun.
Piano lessons for 2 years on my own accord followed by self-learning for a year and counting. I am at not performance level by any means. </p>

<p>The reason I want to go to UCSD is because it has a large Asian American population and has a good CompSci program of so I hear. Furthermore, San Diego, according to findtheb est.com, is quite safe. I've previously traveled to San Diego and I quite like it.</p>

<p>Quite sorry but I know nothing about those schools so I’m afraid I can’t chance you back accurately without doing a lot of research first and viewing of other chancing related to those schools. Better yet is that you ask people to chance you by posting on the forums of the two colleges you are interested in. Chances are, the people there are current students or alumni or others who’ve done a lot of research and are looking into that school. Though I do see that your extracurriculars are quite good.
