chances + a few questions

So...being a n00b at this forum (and a rising senior), I'm impressed at the ridiculous display of awesome GPAs and scores and etc, and I bet I'll see some of ya guys at whatever college I go to.

So what are my chances based on the following info? I'm applying to all the Ivies, Northwestern, U of Chicago, Amherst, Williams, Duke, Rice, Stanford, UMich, and U of I at Urbana.
(I live in Illinois)

Weighted G.P.A.
Freshman: 4.1
Sohpomore: 4.4
Junior: 5.1
Senior: (max = 5.8)
Cumulative: 4.67
Class Rank: 11/620ish?
There are very dirty people who play the GPA game at my school, as in take the easiest honors, with no APs

I know I messed up freshman year, I slacked off way to hard. Anyways, I did take the maximum number of honors classes each year.
Freshman (Enr. Geo. Hnrs, Intro College Biology, Eng Hnrs, French Hnrs)
Sophomore (Adv. Alg Hnrs, Eng Hrs, Fr Hnrs, Chem Hnrs, AP Comp Sci)
(summer: Latin I Hnrs, Precalc Hnrs)
Junior (AP Physics B, AP Psych, BC Calc, AP Stats, Eng Hnrs, Fr Hnrs, Law Hnrs, Sel. Studies in History Hnrs, )
(summer: Linear Algebra)
Senior (AP English, AP French, AP Chem, AP Bio, AP Gov, AP Econ, AP US History, Multivariate Calculus w/ Diff. Eq, AP World History)

Some notes about the classes:
I'm not sure about AP World History.
Multivariate Calc class is thru Stanford.
I'm pretty certain I got a 'B' in Linear Algebra.
Can't progress beyond Latin I because they don't offer Latin II except at schools about 50 miles away.
I'll have taken every AP except for Music and Art at my school.

SCORES:
AP Physics B - 4
AP Computer Science - 4
AP Calculus BC - 5 (5 on AB subscore)
AP Psychology - 5
AP Statistics - 5
*I'm "supposed" to get some sort of AP award, anybody know what it could be? And when do I get it?

SAT: 1220 (8th grade)
ACT: 32 (10th)
PSAT: 215 (11th)

*No SAT IIs yet, I'm planning on taking Physics, Math IIC, and Chemistry. Then I'll take Biology, French, English.

EXTRACURRICULARS/AWARDS: (off the top of my head)
Math Team - 3 straight years
--All sorts of ribbons for 1st/2nd place
--3rd place at Regionals for Frosh/Soph 2 Person team (#1 and #4 state ranked schools beat our #33 school, while we upset several others)
--ICTM State Qualifier
--Top Scorer at WSC 2 years
--AMC 12 - 101.5
--AIME Qualifier
Scholastic Bowl
--Varsity Co-Captain since freshman year
--Captain during Junior year
--2x Team MVP, 2x selected to Conference All-Star Team
Ecology Club
--Ours is 1st in state, we got a fancy plaque too.
--President for sure next year

Key Club, Service Club, Computer Club, International Club, etc etc etc
Trying to found Science Olympiad, might fail because of budget constraints

OTHER
--1st Place Regionals for CAD
--In the QuestBridge Program
--Quest Scholars Finalist
--Psychology Experiment. Basically, it'll get pubished in some high school journals for sure because my experiment's results on a large high school sample (~80) slaps a current idea in the face and spits upon it and just might send it to its grave. Potentially will get published in the APA (psych teacher bet his salary). I'm redoing it with an even larger sample later this year.
--Feb. Student of the Month for Science
*typically never given to honors kids for some sick reason

SERVICE:
~300 hours, mainly from Eco Club and Key Club

Yeah, so those are the main ones for extracurriculars, I need to find my big list somewhere.

RECS:
My GC is retarded. She has successfully found a way to mess my class schedule up every year and thinks I'm going to a community college because I requested fee waivers.
As for teachers, I'll get awesome ones from my Bio and BC Calc teachers.

Various Hooks:
THE GOOD - I'm poor, my parents make ~19,000 :(

THE BAD - I'm Chinese. Mom never went to college. Dad has MBA, but sells insurance now, after a bankruptcy. Lived in poor neighbors until mid-7th grade (moved to white suburb), so when I talk fast, it sounds like ebonics (bad for interviews?). Yes yes, Chinese people who talk black do exist. I also can switch to my southern accent because I used to live in Arkansas.

I'm sorta looking on advice on what to improve to get into one of the Ivies so my asian parents can **** about me being the retarded one in my generation (my cousin is a shoo-in for Tsinghua basically, took Calc in 4th grade, disgusting resume that has real achievements). I want to get into an Ivy because of their finacial aid programs, so I won't be in a pile of debt after 4 years. I'm sorta against the idea of loans...

Also, I'm probably going to apply to some combined-med programs. Do you guys know of any that I might get into, and what colleges offer it?

Also, can I get some insight on any other extracurriculars I could add? Which school should I apply ED so I can maximize its benefits (I can opt out b/c of my poor status, right?)?

I think you need to take the SAT I's
in order to really have a chance at the ivies, as well as Stanford

If you're happy in Urbana, then you're all set. Better get those test scores up a bunch for the others.

If you get your scores up to 2250+, I believe you'd stand a decent chance at all of the schools you are applying to =)

yeah urbana is good bc ur in state, they love to take their own. note: you won't get any financial aid from any of the ones on ur list especially UMICH and Duke, they are just not kind about it. otherwise you're set, good luck!

Minus the Asian part & the financial hardships- you sound exactly like me!

Extracurrics, academics, GUIDANCE COUNSELOR woes, tests, etc.- all about the same. I'd have to say that you are reaching to get into an Ivy.

PLEASE don't take this in the wrong way, because being Asian really isn't a disadvantage (all the Asians I know are waaaay smarter than me!), but you are a minority- which IS an advantage...A good friend of mine had comparable ACTs (better SATs, but you only listed an 8th grade score..take them again!) and comparable parental income/schedule/etc. She got a full ride to Boston College.

Boston College! Fantastic school- not an Ivy, but still FANTASTIC. You might want to look into BC, Colgate, etc. A lot of the LACs (liberal arts colleges- since you're a n00b!) offer FANTASTIC financial aid!!!!!! (I'm in that screwed middle class where my parents make enough for me to be looked over for aid, but not enough that $40k a year is by any means "affordable")

GOOD LUCK! If you have any questions since you're new- I'd be glad to help :)
