Chances...A little lost in need of help

Hi, I am a current freshman at Syracuse University. I am an accepted dual major student in the School of Arts and Sciences and Newhouse. My high school GPA was about a 3.2 and an SAT score of 2330. I had great extracurriculars, but a risky common app. I am in the Renee Crown Honors Program. Unfortunately, I can't afford another year, which is why I'm looking to transfer. I have changed my interests in majors to Communications (Newhouse) and Music Industry/Business. Its too late for me to enter the Bandier program, so I have looked at other schools with great Music Business programs, such as NYU, Northeastern, Emory, and American. (If anyone has any others, please let me know!!!!)

I ended my freshman year with a 3.1. I slacked off, I know and I'm beating myself up for it now. I realized though what I want to do with my life, and have a determination to bring my GPA up to at least a 3.5 by the end of my freshman year. If I can bring it up, what are my chances to the schools listed above? or does anyone have any advice on what to do?

Thank you!!

If you can’t afford Syracuse why are you applying to other really expensive schools? I’m not trying to be rude but you kind of have to face the reality of the financial part. You might just want to look into other music industry schools that are a bit cheaper.
