Recs:
I got along well with teachers who are writing them but who knows

Visited UT and Austin spring break of junior year and loved it. McCombs is definitely my top choice but I understand how competitive it is - especially for OOS and non auto admit kids.

Also applying to UNC, UVA, UMich, Southern Cal, Vandy, UGA H, Tulane, Wake, and IU (OOS all)

Any chancing/advice/insight is appreciated, thanks yall

Your resume is great and you are right that the weakest part is your ACT score. UT does not superscore so try to get that higher. Also spend a lot of time on your essays. I do think they count more than people think and can make you stand out.

Thank you!

Bumping bc I got a 1460 SAT - anyone else have any predictions/suggestions?

Focus on the essays. Sell yourself. Do it just the way you would at any other selective college; tell them what you would add to their class. Anecdotally, just met a guy who got in CS as a transfer from CC in another state. Yes, he was smart and had good grades and scores, but more importantly, he had a different background than the typical applicant. (Older, had worked and served in military.)

35-40% chance, dependent on the other International / OOS applying to McCombs.

Bumping for more responses. I have one more chance to lift my SAT from 1460 to 1500.
