Chances after being deferred?

I applied ED and got deferred. Does anyone know the chances, generally, of being accepted after being deferred at Tufts and more specifically, with my stats below, do I stand a chance? (Feel free to be brutally honest)

[ b]Objective:**
[ *] SAT I (breakdown): didn't send
[ *] ACT: 34 (35 Writing, 35 Science, 34 Reading, 30 Math, 10 Writing)
[ *] SAT II: 760 US History, 740 Bio M
[ *] Unweighted GPA (out of 4.0): 3.6 (ish) and weighted 4.1-4.2
[ *] Rank (percentile if rank is unavailable): 20% (I go to a really large, competitive public school)
[ *] AP (place score in parenthesis): AP Calc AB (4), AP Lang (5), AP Calc BC (5)/AB Subscore (5), Bio (4), APUSH (5)
[ *] IB (place score in parenthesis):
[ *] Senior Year Course Load: AP Statistics, AP Lit, AP Spanish, AP Euro, AP Psych, AP Econ (macro and micro), Honors Anatomy and Physiology
[ *] Major Awards (USAMO, Intel etc.): AP Scholar

[ /list][ b]Subjective:**
[ *] Extracurriculars (place leadership in parenthesis): Model UN (co-president), Speech and Debate Team (Public Forum - 4 years), Middle School Debate (teach at our district's 3 middle schools), Private Voice for 6 years, Apprenticeship at the Pittsburgh Opera, Apprenticeship at the Pittsburgh Symphony Orchestra, selective school choir (9th-10th), Bach Choir of Pittsburgh (auditioned community choir), Spanish Club, Mock Trial, Quiz Bowl Team (one of the 3 chosen from my school to be on local tv quiz show), World Affairs Council of Pittsburgh Apprenticeship, International Youth Forum/Youth World Summit (mediator for my school at video conferences), NJHS/NHS, Interact Club

[ *] Job/Work Experience: Interned at the Pittsburgh Opera - summer 2014, created education materials for teacher workshops on this season's operas

[ *] Volunteer/Community service: VITAS Hospice Care - musical volunteer, Volunteer with Pittsburgh Opera - 50 hours

[ *] Summer Activities: Intro to Law camp at Georgetown - 2013, Pre-College Music at Carnegie Mellon - 2014 (part-time so I could also intern at Opera. I took private lessons, coachings, opera workshop, jazz choir, solfege, and concert choir), and I taught myself how to play guitar, ukulele, and piano (2012-2013) and learned italian (2014)

[ *] Essays: I thought these were good but who knows anymore? For Common App, I wrote about writing Harry Potter music and how songwriting helps me to explore my own mind and combine all my interests. The why tufts was super hard for me because I had to cut so much of why I love Tufts out because of the word limit. The let your life speak one, I wrote about my extended family, specifically this one uncle, and how they are incredibly nuanced and their widespread passions have allowed me to love both opera and biology but want to study International Relations with a minor in Italian. I wrote the what makes you happy prompt about listening to opera music and I talked about the first time I heard opera on Arthur as a child and how that evolved into my passion today not only to sing but also to listen to everything I can. (I promise, my essays were more nuanced than how they sound)

[ *] Teacher Recommendation: I had one from my AP Lang teacher and one from my AP Bio teacher. I think they were good but nothing exceptionally spectacular. My AP lang teacher thought I was an amazing writer but I'm just not the type to talk excessively in class so that could have been a drawback. My Bio teacher knew me as a person pretty well because I was in his homeroom and we would talk about video games together but I'm not sure how much he knows me as a student.

[ *] Counselor Rec: I go to a huge school with only 5 counselors but my counselor is the best and she took 5 minutes to sit down with me and tell her about myself which is more than most people at my school get. This probably didn't help or hurt just because of the logistics of it all.

[ *] Additional Rec: n/a
[ *] Interview: n/a
[ *] Supplementary Material: sent a studio recording of three arias (a french, an italian, and an english)

[ /list][ b]Other**
[ *] State (if domestic applicant): Pennsylvania
Country (if international applicant):
[ *] School Type: Public
[ *] Ethnicity: Indian
[ *] Gender: F
[ *] Income Bracket(mention if FA candidate): 200,000+

Sounds like you are well qualified. Does your school have Naviance? Check there for stats on who was deferred and accepted. Good luck.

My school does not have Naviance but I am hoping to raise my gpa .1-.2 by the end of the semester and maybe take Math II. I’ll request an interview too and hopefully all of those together will improve my chances
