Chances after deferral?

<p>I was recently deferred from Northeastern University (top choice) and Villanova, do I stand a chance of being admitted to wither one in the regular decision pool?</p>

<p>3.28 GPA (will raise to ~ 3.32 after second quarter)
top 30% of class (70/230)
1950 SATs
-610 M
-660 CR
-680 W</p>

<p>Stuff i put on my app:
JV Ski Team
Varsity Tennis
Key Club (11,12)
Math Team (12)
Boy Scouts (3-11, Assistant Leader)
Multi-Instrumentalist/Band (4-12)
Computer assembly/repair (9-12)
Photography (9-12)</p>

<p>120 hrs. community service</p>

<p>Spectacular rec from 11th grade english teacher, and apretty good essay about the way my discovery of music has affected the way I think</p>

<p>I'm very nervous about my deferrals, because I'm absolutely head over heels for Northeastern.</p>

<p>Also I took the Math II and Literature SAT IIs on the 4th and I’m surrently in AP Calc, AP World History, and AP Literature</p>

<p>Villanova- They generally accept people with higher GPAs (3.6+) , although your SATs are in the range of what they accept. So I’d say that you at least have a shot there if you bring up your gpa with good mid year grades.</p>

<p>Not sure about Northeastern.</p>
