Chances after last semester?

<p>Well my last semester was iddled with problems both school and family related, and in short my average declined slightly and my gpa fell a small amount. I'm wondering, with two c+s am I still gonna be ok? They were in very advanced classes (trig/sr adv math and bio 2 which awards college credits)</p>

<p>My stats:
Black male from jersey
3.9 gpa though it wil rise by end of first semester senior year
1960 sat/ 1370 old school. Now since this grade drop I plan to retake for 2100+ or at least a 1400.
Many ec's in church and volunteer hours. Held down a good job since I was 14.
in top 10% of class.</p>

<p>I'm hoping my ecs, previous grades, high test scores and my job will show theu I'm commited and that this last semester was an anomaly. What do you all think please? Anyone get in with one or two cs (I'm assuming some did)</p>

btw, is it ur first choice? if it is I reccommend apply ED to increase ur chances of getting a good scholarship offer.</p>

<p>I thought with ED they could burden you down with loans and all and there wasn't much you could really do if they could prove your parents could pay? That's the only reason I'm applying EA and not ED.</p>
