Chances After Low Subject Test Scores?

Hello. I’m applying to a handful of competitive schools for Computer Science. I’m not particularly worried about the public schools, but my low subject test scores have me concerned about my chances at the private schools I’m applying to.

The private schools I’m applying to are: Cornell, Princeton, Carnegie Mellon, and Rice.

I don’t think that my essays are particularly impressive, but they’re serviceable. I lack any sort of extraordinary background to write about, so I focused mainly on my interest in Computer Science. Personally, I believe that I demonstrated my passion for the field, though I have no idea how much each college cares about that.

That’s about all that comes to mind right now. I’m honestly not sure where my chances are thanks to those low subject test scores, so any estimates would be appreciated. Thank you!

Your ECs look kind of light. Also, I don’t think you calculated your gpa on a 4.0 scale right. It isn’t simply in proportion to your 100 scale gpa. It has to do with letter grades, not percents. Look up how to calculate it. Also, you should work on your essays if they’re not the best they can be. All of those schools will be reaches simply because of how competitive they are.
