<p>Hi all! Haven't posted in a while. Wanted to do one big chances thread after junior year finally ended. Here it is:</p>
<p>GPA: about a 3.75 (school uses a 7 point scale where 6.5 is a 4.0....my gpa's have been 6.32, 6.55, and 6.28)
SAT: 2220 Superscore (two single sittings of 2190, superscore is 790,700,730)
ACT : 32 (gonna take one more time, trying for at least a 33)</p>
<p>Classes: Took 2 APs and 3 Honors Classes this year, as well as normal english (no accelerated option offered)</p>
<p>Senior Year Schedule:
AP Economics
AP English Lit
AP Environmental
AP Spanish IV
AP Calculus AB</p>
<p>ECs:
Varsity Soccer (junior and senior years)
Varsity Track (junior and senior years)
School Paper (writer all four years, no leadership tho)
Business Club (member all four years, MAY have leadership this year, depends on what happens to the club)
5 years of Community Service in Tennessee (total of about 160 hours), 1 week per year
required school community service
taking a week long writing class at Brown this summer (not really an EC, didnt know where to put tho)</p>
<p>Awards:
-National Spanish Exam: Gold Level 1, Silver Level 2, Gold Level 3
-School-wide History Paper contest: 3rd place sophomore year, 2nd place Junior year (only non senior winner in the American history category this year)
-National Merit Commended (This is almost definitely going to become Semifinalist or finalist....my PSAT was a 222)
-One of 12 Caterham scholars that will be traveling to England for two weeks this summer on exchange
-Perfect Score on school's Junior Writing Exam (one of only 8 out of like 114 i think)
-Won school's Alumni Association Scholarship Award of 1000$ given to a male and female junior that improve the overall campus by virtue of academic, athletic, and social achievement</p>

<p>I am a white male attending a competitive boarding school in Ohio, my parents also both received PHDs from UVA, if that affects my chances there. </p>
