<p>Hi wanted to know my chances at some of these universities.
White Male, New York</p>

<p>GPA-3.5-3.6 UW
Most rigorous Courses offered (7 AP, 2 H, and 2 Accelerated)
SAT:(needs improvement) 620 CR, 600 M, 640 W.
EC's:LAcrosse for 8 years, 2 yrs JV, 2 yrs V.
FBLA 3 years
Band: 8 years, 4 years in HS
Eagle Scout (Plenty of volunteer work, and organized my own community service prject)
School Government Office 2 years
Job for 2 years (Movie Theater)
100+hours of volunteer time</p>

<p>I have my sights set on very selective schools and i feel most are out of my reach:
SUNY Binghamton
Northeastern
Penn State
U. of Maryland
Villanvova
George Washington U.
U. of Michigan
Boston University
Lehigh
UNC Chapel Hill</p>

<p>The last few are very big reaches and any input on my chances, possible imrovements, or other recommended schools (major in business) would be appreciated.</p>

<p>Apply to Penn State as soon as applications open (first week in August) and you are definitely in. I know in-state people with much worse stats than you who were accepted when applying around November. So if you apply as soon as applications open, you'll be set.
I also think you have an incredibly good chance of getting into Villanova. :)</p>
