Chances (AGAIN)

lol I know this has become a cliche "what are my chances", and I myself have asked this before... like... 6 months ago, still, a few things that to my opinion might increase the competitiveness of my curriculum have been added... still, I would like to know what other people think.

Also, I will aim at this question from a different perspective, telling more of who I am (and adding some of the things i've accomplished).

In chronological order, ever since I have memory, I've been a science fan. Having a mother that used to teach math and chemistry at high school level, we could say that.. she passed me those science-oriented genes, and up to now, that's where i'm heading.

I've participated in several math olympiads throughout the years (regional and national), but the only one worth mentioning is the National Math olympiads, where I got an honorable mention in 2001 and I was part of the national squad in 2006.

I've also participated in chemistry olympiads at national and international level, getting a gold medal in the national chemistry olympiads in 2004, and a silver medal, and silver medal in 2005. In the ibero-american chem. olympiads I got a honorable mention in Peru 2005, and participated in the 2006 ibero-american olympiads in portugal. Also, I participated in the international chemistry olympiad, in Taiwan 2005, qualifying first among many other students (I was in junior year, while others were in their senior year, and others had already finished).

Also during 2006 I participated in weizmann's institute summer camp, ISSI, an unforgettable experience in which I spent a whole month alone (without any family) at the institute with people from all over the world. This helped me grow as a person, learn to administrate my money, and also become much more mature.

Finally, during 2007, I am helping the national chemistry olympiad organization as a tutor, preparing younger students for international competitions.

Last, but not least, some stats:

800 in physics SAT II
800 in math lvl2 SAT II
770 in chemistry SAT II
690 in critical reading SAT I
740 in math SAT I
620 in writing SAT I
663/677 (or 680) in my TOEFL test

I am from Uruguay, and I've been learning english for quite a few years now.

Thank you for your answers!

u r wonderful...

You will be banished to the 7th circle of hell for even trying to apply

I think you have a pretty good shot, amigo.

The only problem I'd say is that you are a estudiante international.

Q mierda... yo no soy de USA tampoco. :P But I want to apply to MIT later too. Your curriculum impressed me a lot though. I hope you get in. Please post in CC if you got in or not. Even if you don't get in I want to congratulate you for trying so hard. But I hope you get in, you deserve it.

a few more stats...

I took IB Physics, Math, Chemistry and English in HL, and Business and Spanish in SL.

My results were.. 6/7 in math physics and chem, and 5/7 in english, business and spanish.

Also, I took both the IB and the national baccalaureate simultaneously, and the Uruguayan baccalaureate is quite demanding.
