ALSO, PLEASE TELL ME GRADES DON'T MATTER! TT___TT
I just got a C in British Literature for one of my Senior grades.....

but yea thanks!!

btw I plan on majoring in Nutritional Sciences!! thanks

Yes grades and GPA don't matter at all! GPA isn't looked at, just class rank. I'm just going to assume your rank is exactly 25%--this is likely what UT will do if your school doesn't give exact ranks or just gives quintiles/deciles.

Based on your numbers you will be borderline. You are about average for the standard accepted student. You might be a bit low for OOS. You have good ECs, and if the essays are good (5/6) range, you will have a good shot.

It's hard to say, but it's all based on a formula which I don't have in front of me right now.

^hey thanks soo much
I realllyyy appreciate it.

one question.. how much of a role does recomendations play? One of my recs is really good. It's written by my physics teacher who thinks I'm one of the hardest working students he had, and he used to be a lawyer and college counselor

Thanks! I reallyy hope I get in.

Does not affect your application at all, sorry. Usually they won't look at them at all.

The only exception is for certain honors programs, where they are considered and sometimes required.

I hope you didnt make up those numbers on your app (2os ish), in this case i think it would be to your advantage that your school doesnt rank. if you estimated low. thats just a bummer.

^sorry can you explain what you meant by "if you estimated low. thats just a bummer."? >_<

but yea my school doesn't rank. I just said "upper 20's" for the sake of helping people chance me, since UT kinda figures out the rank =]
