<p>So I have recently been very motivated to try and make it into the USNA. Currently I am in my sophomore year of high school. Freshman year was tough for me and grades were pretty average. I believe I had a 2.7 or so for freshman year. But my new found motivation has me currently getting all A's and B's right now and im shooting for all As. I am also looking at a spot on the varsity baseball team. I am doing community service for a specific cause which I am looking to poor a lot of hours into. PSATs are tomorrow for me so I dont know my score. I am fairly good at math and I am extremely interested in science.</p>
<p>So am I headed in the right direction? What should I do extra to ensure that i have a good chance to get in? Does my terrible GPA from freshman year effect my chances?</p>
