Any advice on matches and safeties?

Oh and please consider me for Brown.

You have as good of a shot as anyone I have seen. Your in at UCB.

Any one of the five service academies. USNA might be the best fit there very good econ and math programs.

Thanks LFWB dad, I'll look at USNA's programs.

hollermahler:

UCB: Safe Match

Princeton ED- slight reach
Harvard- reach (for everyone, though its less of a reach for you)
MIT- see above
Columbia (College)- slight reach
UCB- safety
UPenn (Wharton)- reach (see harvard and MIT)
NYU (Stern)- safe match
Brown- match/slight reach
Williams (legacy)- match

princeton: slight reach (you probably have the best chances ive ever seen though)
harvard: reach
MIT: reach (there are no matches for mit/harvard, or really princeton)
Columbia: match-slight reach
UCB: safe match
Wharton: reach
Stern: safe match
Williams: match
Brown: match

also, top colleges care a lot about community service, do you have any?

I've been a tutor in Math and French for 4 years. I also have volunteered at the blood bank for over 250+ hours. I actually thought these community service activities were insignificant since everyone does it.

Can anyone tell me how to improve my chances for Wharton?

hollermahler, you can pm me for information on Wharton's admissions and advice. I was admitted to Huntsman, so I know a thing or two about the process.

Anyone else?

bump........

I think you have a pretty good chance at all these schools. I'll bump this thread since no one seems to be responding.

bumpbumpbumpbumpbump

Um, why did you make this thread in the first place? Did you really need people to tell you that you're competitive at these places?

actually everyone is saying I'm a reach at wharton, and I want to know how to improve my chances!
