<p>Hello! I applied to the University of Michigan in October of 2013 for early action. Unfortunately I was deferred, although not what I wanted to hear, it was definitely a step up from not getting accepted. Anyways, when I applied my GPA was a 3.67, not the highest but still good. I received a 28 on my ACT with sub-scores of a 30 in reading, 27 in math, 26 in english, and a 30 in science. However, since receiving my deferral my GPA has gone up to nearly a 3.75 (in one trimester). I also emailed my admissions counselor early January informing her of my continued interest in Michigan. So finally, my question is what do you think my chances are and when do you think I'll find out?! Thanks for the help! </p>
<p>Well the upped GPA is a good sign that you’re still trying, but combined with those test test scores id say its a reach.</p>
