Chances and FA after a gap year

<p>I'm thinking about taking a gap year for personal reasons. I'm wondering about my chances at mid-tier schools and the FA I would receive. Here are my stats:</p>

<p>SAT I: 2300+
SAT II: 790, 790, 790
AP's: mostly 5's</p>

<p>GPA: 4.77
Class Rank: 1/470</p>

<p>Ethnicity: Asian
State: CA</p>

<p>Decent EC's, strong writer. I'd probably apply to some of the UC's again, and a few mid-tier privates. What kind of financial aid would I get? (my family is low income)</p>
