Chances and how to get better for these schools

<p>I am an 11th grade student attending a prestigious private school in Indianapolis, IN. I just want to find out my chances to get into these schools and what I can do to improve my resume. </p>

<p>I want to major in either finance or math to become an actuary out of college.</p>

<p>GPA: 3.95 W, 3.62 UW
SAT: 1980 (540 Reading, 800 Math, 640 Writing)
National Honor Society
Varsity Hockey
Varsity Lacrosse
German Club</p>

<p>I am trying to get accepted to:
Indiana University
University of North Carolina - Chapel Hill
New York University
University of Southern California
University of Virginia</p>

<p>Be honest with me. I Will be taking the SAT again probably two more times so that should hopefully go up. Even though my GPA is not very high, do you think that colleges will consider the fact that my high school is very prestigious and a 3.95 here is equivalent to a 4.3 at the local public school? How can I have a better chance at getting into these schools?</p>

NYU: High match (math)/Reach (Stern)
USC: Reach
UVA: Reach (might want 2100+)</p>
