Chances And Recommendation

Hi. I am currently a junior. Confuse and completely devastated by my SAT score, I would like to seek some advice from you guys. I have a lot of reaches in my mind already and I would also appreciate your input on my match or safeties.

Background[ul]
[] Intended Major: Undecided, but leaning more toward pre-law/politics
[] Country: In Southeast Asia
[] School Type: Prestigious International School, 160/class
[] Ethnicity: Asian, International
[] Gender: Female
[/ul]
As a student, I:[ul]
[] SAT I: Hopefully at 2100 by the time I apply
[] SAT II: Will be taking Chem and Math II in June
[] GPA: 3.7
[] IELTS: 8.5/9
[] IB: Math HL, Chem HL, Bio HL, English SL, Mandarin SL, Psychology SL -- will most likely get predicted a 40-41/45
[/ul]
As a person, I:[ul]
[] Debating: Finalist/Champion/Best Speaker of various national tournaments. Organize in-school tournaments. Very active in the national debating society. Represented country at WSDC 2010 and hoping to be selected for the 2011 team as well.
[] Student government: Executive position in student council, President of Grade Committee in Freshmen year
[] Interact Rotary: Junior executive, Co-president. Our biggest activity is Habitat for Humanity. Once a year, we take all the money we raised over one year and leave the city to build houses for people in need.
[] Volunteer at local hospitals, shadow neurosurgeons
[] Will be volunteering at National Red Cross this summer
[] Journalism: I design (the layout) and write columns (mostly about our debate club's accomplishments) for the school's newsletter.
[li] Web design/Graphic design/Video editing: I am very passionate about these stuff. I've been designing graphics for 6 years. I am also a freelance designer, making logos and website for small companies. I maintain a website where people can go to get resources for designing. I've only been editing videos for a few years, but I enjoy it a lot. I submit pieces to in-school competition when I have a chance.[/li][/ul]

I want to apply to... Stanford, Tufts, NYU, USC, Yale, Rice
I am also considering colleges in UK (I will have to declare a major upon submitting my application though, and I am still very unsure about what I want to become) ... UCL, King's College, Birmingham

I have a lot of interests and I enjoy all of them. That makes deciding very hard sometime. I know my course load seems super Asian and science-oriented, but I've recently been affected by the political situation in my country to the point where I want to major in that area instead. But then again, that's the beauty of liberal arts.

Thank you for reading up 'til here. Your kindness is super appreciated. :D

SAT score is very important.
Any safeties?
I mean you have to jump over the first academic hurdle.

SAT score looks very low, also GPA. But if your rank is good, it is not a problem. Because that signifies grade deflation.

Thank you!!

My school doesn’t rank, I think.

I am applying for safety in England. But a safer school to apply to at US would be nice as well. Any suggestions?
