Very good stats. Unforunately, you have no hooks, so Harvard, Yale, and Princeton are all reaches.

With that said, you have a decent chance of being admitted to at least one of HYP, possibly more if your essays are stellar. You’ve got an above-average shot at Columbia and Brown. You have a great shot at Penn, Cornell, and John Hopkins. I can’t say that you’re in at Tufts because they waitlist so many applicants… but you’re in at Brandeis, for sure.

Best of luck on all your apps!

Thanks for your response!!

Might look at Bowdoin and Holy Cross-very good Classics program.

Excellent chances. As somone said, the lack of hooks will hurt you, because there are going to be a lot of stellar applicants. That being said you still have a shot at all of them.

Chance me: http://talk.collegeconfidential.com/what-my-chances/957028-chance-please.html

…Not at most schools. Like I said, HYP, Columbia, and Brown are mid-reaches, and even Cornell, JHU, and Penn are low reaches. The only safe bet on the list is Brandeis.

But if you apply to all those top schools, you’re likely to be admitted to at least one of them, maybe more if you have great essays.

Good luck.

are you EDing at any of these schools?

I am not yet sure if I will do ED for any of the schools, but I am currently leaning towards SCEA for Yale.

That’s cool, just know that getting admitted SCEA without any hooks will be harder than getting admitted Regular Decision. The Yale SCEA applicant pool is one of the most, if not the most, competitive applicant pool in the United States. Don’t let the higher admit rate fool you: most athletic recruits, wealthy students, legacies, etc. apply SCEA, not RD, and they all have significantly better chances of admission.
